Cambodia Extends Condolence to US Tornado Victims

PHNOM PENH: The Royal Government of Cambodia has sent a condolence statement to the United States on the deadly tornadoes that devastated lives and properties last week. The statement was released on Thursday afternoon by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

The statement says, “The Royal Government of Cambodia has learned with deep grief over the loss of several lives and enormous property damages caused by savage tornadoes swiping through a number of states in the Midwest and South of the United States of America.”

It adds, “In this sobering and difficult time, the Royal Government and the Cambodian people wholeheartedly share our thought with the American people and wish to extend our heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the bereaved families who have lost their loves ones, and pray for the safeties to the unaccounted victims.”
